Prerequisite: CZ1102/CS1101
A review of probability theory and random number generators. Introduction
to Metropolis sampling. Discrete event simulation, queuing, inventory
system, output data analysis, variance reduction techniques. Application
examples in finance and engineering. Introduction to simulation software.
