Postdoc Positions in Bioinformatics and Computer aided drug-design:

Applications are invited for two SMA research fellow positions in either bioinformatics, or biomodeling and drug-design. The initial appointment is for two years and the salary is S$4,000 (US$2350) per month. There is opportunity for extension or continued employment as academic faculty or R&D personnel after two years.

Specific projects include:

1. Sequence analysis and prediction of protein function and protein-protein interactions.
2. Simulation of biological pathways.
3. Computer aided drug design and safety testing methods.

• Physics or chemistry with computer programming experience.
• Biochemistry or biology with strong computer knowledge and coding experience.
• Computer science with sufficient experience in biology or biochemistry.
• Physics and chemistry (expected to do bioinformatics programing and biophysics research).
